Blizzard Entertainment celebrated Warcraft's 30th anniversary with a livestream packed with announcements, including major updates to Warcraft III: Reforged, remastered versions of Warcraft I and II, and exciting news for World of Warcraft players.
Warcraft III: Reforged 2.0
Warcraft III: Reforged 2.0 has arrived, bringing significant visual improvements:
- High-definition updates for units, buildings, VFX, heroes, environments, and icons.
- Option to switch between Reforged and Classic HD assets.
- Enhanced environments, ambient lighting, and tone mapping.
- Bloom effect removed.
- XP and leveling system for Ranked Play with seasonal leaderboards.
Warcraft I & II Remastered
Remastered versions of Warcraft I and II are also available, featuring real-time switching between remastered and original graphics, UI improvements, and quality-of-life changes for Warcraft I (faster game speed, right-click to move). The updated Warcraft Battle Chest, containing all three remastered games, is available on Battle.net.
World of Warcraft
The biggest news for World of Warcraft is the confirmation of player housing in the next expansion, World of Warcraft: Midnight.
The upcoming content update, Siren Isle (patch 11.0.7), will be released on December 17th, featuring a new outdoor zone to explore. A roadmap outlining future content, including the goblin city of Undermine, was also shared:

Warcraft Rumble
Warcraft Rumble, released in November 2023, has seen players defeat over 900 million bosses. A PC version is in development with a beta starting December 10th.
Classic WoW
Fresh World of Warcraft Classic realms will launch on November 21st to celebrate the game's 20th anniversary. Mists of Pandaria Classic is set to release in Summer 2025.
