Aoostar has launched the GEM12 Pro Max, a new mini PC in China. This upgraded version retains the built-in screen and fingerprint reader of the Pro model while adding dual USB4 ports and a DC power input.

The GEM12 Pro Max offers several enhancements over the previous models:
- Dual USB4 Ports: One front, one rear, offering improved connectivity compared to the single front USB4 port on the standard and Pro models.
- OCuLink Port: Retained from the Pro model, enabling high-performance eGPU setups.
- DC Power Input: Provides more power flexibility compared to the USB-C power delivery of the earlier versions.
