Rumors circulating online suggest that the Nintendo Switch 2 launch could be one of the biggest in gaming history. According to a user on Reddit and Famiboards (the same user who leaked a sketch of the console last month), launch stock for the Switch 2 has been finalized, and it's substantial.
The leaker couldn't reveal the exact figures, but claims that US stock alone will be 2.5 times greater than the initial allocation for the original Switch. If this increase applies globally, Nintendo could be planning to ship between 6.5 and 7 million units worldwide, making it a massive console launch.
While this information should be taken with caution, a large-scale launch wouldn't be surprising. Earlier reports mentioned 10 million units produced in the first fiscal year.
