Notepad's AI Rewrite

Notepad now has a "Rewrite" option in the context menu, allowing users to modify selected text based on specific criteria. A pop-up window offers options to make the text longer, shorter, or adjust its tone. The app then generates three rewritten versions. Currently, this feature is only available in the UK, US, France, Italy, Canada, and Germany.

Paint's Generative Fill and Erase

Paint introduces "Generative Fill" and "Generative Erase," similar to features found in Photoshop. Generative Fill creates and seamlessly adds objects to an image based on text prompts. Generative Erase removes parts of an image and fills the empty space. The Fill feature requires a Copilot Plus subscription, while Erase is available to all testers of the current Insider build.
