One-Netbook has teased its upcoming OneGx 2, a hybrid mini laptop and gaming handheld. While official specifications remain under wraps, a leak suggests it could feature a powerful AMD APU.
According to tipster @RealVictor_M on X, the OneGx 2 may be powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, the same APU found in the GPD Pocket 4. This would be a substantial upgrade from the Intel Core i5 10210Y and UHD Graphics 615 found in the original OneGx.
The Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 boasts the Radeon 890M iGPU, a modern RDNA 3.5 architecture capable of handling many modern AAA games at 1080p on Medium settings. This represents a significant performance jump compared to the original OneGx, which struggled with modern games.
While the AMD APU seems likely, there's still a chance One-Netbook could opt for an Intel Lunar Lake processor. Regardless of the chosen hardware, the OneGx 2's unique design and small form factor position it as a competitor to the upcoming GPD Win Mini, also expected to feature an AMD Strix Point APU.
