OnePlus has introduced a new Magnetic Power Bank with a 5000mAh capacity in China. Nearly identical to a recently launched Oppo model, the power bank offers both a wireless charging pad and a USB-C port, all within a remarkably slim 8.8mm (0.3-inch) profile, making it thinner than comparable Anker power banks.
Features and Specifications
The OnePlus Magnetic Power Bank allows simultaneous charging of two devices: one wirelessly and another via the USB-C port. The 5000mAh battery recharges through the same USB-C port, and four LEDs indicate the remaining power level. Safety features include temperature monitoring, short-circuit protection, and overvoltage protection.
With dimensions of 96 x 69 x 8.8 mm (3.8 x 2.7 x 0.3 inches), the OnePlus power bank is exceptionally thin. It's notably thinner than the Anker 621 Magnetic Portable Charger (MagGo), which measures 11 mm (0.45 inches) thick.
The OnePlus and Oppo versions appear to differ only in their casing finish. The OnePlus model sports a darker "Extreme Silver Gray" color. Priced at CNY 149 (approximately $21), the power bank is currently exclusive to the Chinese market, with no global release announced yet.
