According to renowned Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station, OnePlus is planning to release a relatively compact smartphone, likely within its Ace sub-flagship series.
The device is rumored to feature a 6.31-inch 1.5K display and a flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Its size may be similar to the recently released vivo X200 Pro mini in China.
This compact OnePlus phone is expected to launch in Q2 2025 as part of the Ace series. Meanwhile, the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite respectively, could be unveiled as early as December.
The leaker also mentioned that this OnePlus device won't compete directly with the rumored OPPO Find X8 mini, as they will have different processors. The OPPO phone is speculated to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9400, like its larger siblings.
