Leaked Geekbench benchmarks reveal impressive performance for the upcoming Nubia RedMagic 10 Ultra gaming smartphone. Thanks to a combination of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite and an integrated cooling fan, the device surpasses even the Apple M2 in performance.
The RedMagic 10 Ultra achieved a single-core score of 3,229 and a multi-core score of 10,300 in Geekbench 6. This represents a substantial 42.2% improvement over its predecessor, the RedMagic 9 Pro, which used the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The 10 Ultra also outperforms the Realme GT7 Pro (also with a Snapdragon 8 Elite) by 7.2% and 12.6% in single-core and multi-core scores, respectively.
The integrated fan appears to play a significant role in maintaining performance. Initial tests of the fanless Realme GT7 Pro showed significant performance drops under sustained load, highlighting the advantage of active cooling in the RedMagic 10 Ultra.
Benchmark Comparison
Device | Geekbench 6 Single-Core | Geekbench 6 Multi-Core |
---|---|---|
RedMagic 10 Ultra (Snapdragon 8 Elite) | 3,229 | 10,300 |
Realme GT7 Pro (Snapdragon 8 Elite) | 3,011 | 9,143 |
iPhone 16 Pro (Apple A17 Pro) | 3,461 | 8,546 |
RedMagic 9 Pro (Snapdragon 8 Gen 3) | 2,270 | 7,151 |
Apple M2 | 2,599 | 10,089 |
These benchmark results place the RedMagic 10 Ultra ahead of not only the iPhone 16 Pro but also the Apple M2, demonstrating performance comparable to a 2022 MacBook Air (in terms of CPU). Previous leaks suggest the RedMagic 10 Ultra will also feature a large 7-inch display and a 7,000 mAh battery. The official launch is expected later this month.
