JiYue unveiled the Robo X electric supercar at the Guangzhou Auto Show, boasting a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of under 2 seconds and a range of AI-powered features that set it apart from other supercars.
Built on a carbon fiber and 5052 aluminum alloy frame, the Robo X is powered by four liquid-cooled motors. It features a battery providing a range of 644 kilometers (approximately 400 miles). According to JiYue, the Robo X is race-ready and utilizes Baidu Apollo's ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance System) for autonomous driving on racetracks.
The Robo X integrates AI capabilities for several functions:
- Optimized vehicle control
- Enhanced safety systems
- Improved efficiency
The car also features Simo, an intelligent voice assistant that can provide real-time vehicle data, such as engine temperature.
The Robo X's design has earned it the Red Dot Design Award 2024 and the German Design Award 2025. Pre-orders are open in China with a deposit of $6,915, but production is not expected to begin until 2027.
