Released on October 31st, the remaster supports 4K resolution, 60 fps, and includes new costumes for the protagonist and a New Game+ mode. Developed by Grasshopper Manufacture, the original game was a collaboration between Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil 4) and Goichi Suda (killer7).

Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered is available on PC (for 24,99€ ), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch.

Suda has spoken about the difficult development process of the original game, revealing that he had to rewrite the script and rework the concept multiple times to gain approval from Electronic Arts, the game's publisher at the time. This reportedly caused him to avoid thinking about the game for many years.
