Despite a mixed reception and failing to meet Ubisoft's expectations, Star Wars Outlaws achieved the second-highest PC game sales in September 2024, according to data from Newzoo.
The game sold over one million copies on PC, trailing only Black Myth: Wukong. This follows earlier reports indicating strong European sales in August. However, Ubisoft has publicly expressed disappointment with the overall sales figures, which are considered modest for a AAA title.
While Star Wars Outlaws performed well on PC, its console sales were less impressive, dropping it to sixth place overall in September when combined with PlayStation and Xbox figures. This suggests Ubisoft might have overestimated the game's potential, particularly on consoles.
