Tesla is now offering 0% APR financing on items in its online store, from home chargers to the Cybertruck's Gigawiper, through a partnership with Klarna. This follows Tesla's similar financing offer for its Model 3 and Model Y vehicles.
The deal allows customers to make four equal monthly payments with zero interest on most items. For example, the $550 universal home charger can be purchased for $137.50 per month, and the newly available Cybertruck Gigawiper replacement blade for $18.75 a month. The availability of replacement Gigawipers comes almost a year after the Cybertruck's launch.
While Klarna typically charges interest for longer payment plans, the four-month option carries no interest. However, for more expensive items like the $5,000 Model Y Clear Paint Protection Film, interest is applied based on the buyer's credit rating, and the four-month interest-free option isn't available.
