Microsoft has released a major update for the Xbox app on Windows, introducing a redesigned Home experience and a handheld-optimized Compact mode. These changes aim to create a more unified gaming experience across different devices and improve usability on handhelds like the Asus ROG Ally. This makes it easier to quickly resume gaming sessions on handheld devices. A new column of icons and shortcuts on the left edge of the screen simplifies navigation on smaller displays.
