The Xiaomi 15 Ultra, expected early next year, has been spotted in a leaked image, revealing details about its camera hardware and hinting at a potentially earlier release.
The image showcases the internal components of the phone, including the camera setup. According to rumors, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will feature the Sony LYT-900 as its primary sensor, a 50MP 1-inch type sensor with a 23mm equivalent focal length. The leaked image shows this sensor positioned unusually far to the left.
Other rumored camera sensors include the Samsung ISOCELL HP9 (100mm equivalent telephoto), a secondary IMX858 telephoto camera, and an ISOCELL JN5 ultrawide camera. The image also reveals a large wireless charging coil and a thick mid-frame.
While the circular camera housing design seems to be returning, the repositioned sensors suggest a different external appearance compared to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
While a global launch at Mobile World Congress 2025 is likely, the leak suggests the phone could debut earlier in China, following the pattern of previous Xiaomi flagships.
