The Acemagic V1 mini PC has officially launched, featuring the unannounced Intel N150 processor from the Twin Lake lineup. This low-power CPU aims to make the V1 an affordable option for a wide variety of applications.
Intel N150 Processor
While Intel has yet to officially announce the Twin Lake series, mini PCs with the N150 chip are already available. The N150 is essentially an upgraded version of the N100, boasting a higher clock speed and reportedly offering a 15% performance boost. This should allow the Acemagic V1 to handle daily office tasks, media playback, and even some game emulation.
Acemagic paired the low-power CPU with a cooling system designed to maintain stable performance during heavy loads while keeping noise levels low.
Design and Connectivity
The chassis of the Acemagic V1 is designed to be compact, measuring 3.9 x 3.9 x 1.18 inches. It offers a good selection of ports, including:
- 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 2 x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 1 x Ethernet
- 1 x DisplayPort 1.4
- 1 x HDMI 2.0
For wireless connectivity, the V1 includes WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2.
Expected Pricing
While the official price has not been released yet, it is expected to be around $250, aligning with the prices of other N150-powered mini PCs.
