AMD has released the Adrenalin Edition 24.12.1 driver, bringing support for several new games, including STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl, alongside improvements for gamers and developers alike.

New Game Support

The new driver adds support for the following titles:

  • STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl
  • Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
  • Marvel Rivals
  • Dragon Age: The Veilguard
  • Slitterhead
  • Delta Force

Expanded HYPR-Tune Support for Gamers

Gamers will benefit from expanded HYPR-Tune support, allowing HYPR-RX to enable in-game technologies like AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) and AMD Radeon Anti-Lag 2. Automatic FSR configuration has been added for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, MechWarrior 5: Clans, and Red Dead Redemption 2.

AI Development on Radeon

For developers, the 24.12.1 driver introduces official support for Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL 2), enabling AMD ROCm software development on Windows systems without dual-booting. WSL 2 support is now available for ONNX Runtime, TensorFlow, and Triton (Beta).

Other Improvements and Bug Fixes

The driver also includes various bug fixes and resolves compatibility issues with other software.
