According to reliable leaker Hoang Anh Phu, AMD is set to expand its Ryzen 9000 lineup next month with three new SKUs, including a non-X variant of the Ryzen 5 9600 processor. The leak suggests that AMD plans to release the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Ryzen 9 9900X3D in late January, alongside the new 6-core Ryzen 5 9600. This non-X variant is expected to have a similar TDP to the existing Ryzen 5 9600X (65W) but with potentially slightly lower base and boost clock speeds. The cache sizes are not expected to change, unless AMD utilizes an alternative silicon design. The leaker suggests that this wouldn't be the first time AMD has used non-standard silicon for its non-X SKUs.
