A leaked CPU-Z screenshot has revealed key specifications for the upcoming AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor. This flagship "Granite Ridge" CPU is expected to be announced at CES 2025, alongside other Ryzen 9000 series processors.
Ryzen 9 9950X3D: Leaked Specifications
The CPU-Z screenshot shows an engineering sample of the Ryzen 9 9950X3D with the following specifications:
- Cores/Threads: 16 cores / 32 threads
- Revision: GNR-B0 (Granite Ridge)
- L3 Cache: 96MB + 32MB
- One CCD: 32MB L3 + 64MB 3D V-Cache
- Other CCD: 32MB L3
- Boost Clock: 5.65 GHz
- TDP: 170W
This confirms the use of a single 3D V-Cache CCD, similar to the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, providing a total of 128MB L3 cache (or 144MB combined L3+L2).
Notably, the 5.65 GHz boost clock is consistent with recent leaks suggesting the 9950X3D will not feature lower clocks compared to the non-X3D variant. The 170W TDP is also the same as the non-X3D 16-core version, although this might be specific to the engineering sample.
The remaining details, such as pricing and performance metrics, are expected to be unveiled at CES 2025.
