AMD's next-generation mobile and desktop CPUs, the Ryzen 9000HX "Fire Range" and Ryzen 9 9950X3D, have been spotted in a Geekbench AI test, offering a glimpse into their potential performance. Ryzen 9000HX "Fire Range" The 16-core "Fire Range" processor, identified by the code 100-000001028-42_Y, is the successor to the Dragon Range series, moving from Zen 4 to the newer Zen 5 architecture. This chip is expected to debut at CES 2025 and will offer full socket compatibility, minimizing the effort required for laptop manufacturers to adopt it.
