Anbernic RG34XX: Game Boy Advance Inspired Handheld with N64/PS1 Emulation

Anbernic has unveiled the RG34XX, a Game Boy Advance-inspired handheld capable of emulating N64, PS1, and PSP games.

Anbernic continues its streak of handheld releases with the RG34XX, a compact device heavily inspired by the classic Game Boy Advance design. This new handheld aims to provide retro gamers with the ability to emulate games from systems like the N64, PS1, and even PSP.

Following closely on the heels of the RG406H and RG406V, the RG34XX is another example of Anbernic's rapid release cycle. This latest handheld takes design cues directly from the Game Boy Advance, even more so than the RG35XX SP.

The RG34XX will be available in Indigo, Transparent Green, Transparent Red, and Black. It retains the angled Start and Select buttons of the Game Boy Advance, along with a front-facing speaker and a d-pad. However, Anbernic has added a second row of action buttons and an extra set of shoulder buttons.

Based on the revealed specifications, including a 3.4-inch display and a 3,500 mAh battery, the RG34XX is likely powered by the Allwinner H700 chipset, a favorite of Anbernic.

While the release date and full specifications are yet to be confirmed, Anbernic is expected to announce more details soon.
