OLED Upgrades Across the Lineup

According to the roadmap (shared by @Jukanlosreve on X), the following OLED upgrades are expected:

  • 2026: iPad Mini (8.4-inch) with LTPS OLED
  • 2027: iPad Air (11-inch and 13-inch) with LTPS OLED
  • 2028: iPad Pro (both models) with upgraded tandem OLED
  • 2026: MacBook Pro (14-inch and 16-inch) with tandem OLED

The Mysterious 18-Inch Foldable

The roadmap also mentions an 18.8-inch foldable device using the same tandem OLED technology. Given its size, it's unlikely to be a smartphone. Speculation suggests it could be a laptop-tablet hybrid similar to the Asus ZenBook 17 Fold OLED.
