Asus has announced a range of new monitors, including the ROG Strix XG32UCG gaming monitor and the ProArt Display 6K for creative professionals. Pricing and availability are expected to be revealed at CES 2025.
ROG Strix XG32UCG: Dual-Mode Gaming
The ROG Strix XG32UCG is a 31.5-inch 4K gaming monitor with dual-mode functionality, allowing users to switch between:
- 1080p at 360Hz for esports titles
- 4K at 160Hz for immersive gaming
It also features AI enhancements like Dynamic Crosshair and Dynamic Shadow Boost, as well as G-SYNC and FreeSync Premium support. Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB-C port with 15W power delivery.
ProArt Display 6K PA32QCV: For Creative Professionals
The ProArt Display 6K PA32QCV is a 32-inch IPS monitor with a 6016 x 3384 resolution (6K), resulting in a pixel density of 216 ppi. Asus claims 98% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and DisplayHDR 600 certification. It's also Calman Verified and factory calibrated for accurate color reproduction.
The monitor features Asus LuxPixel technology to enhance sharpness and colors while reducing reflections. Connectivity includes dual Thunderbolt 4 ports (96W power delivery), a USB hub, DisplayPort 1.4 (with DSC), and HDMI 2.1. A built-in KVM switch adds convenience for multitasking.
