ASUS is preparing a new lineup of ROG gaming laptops featuring NVIDIA's next-generation RTX 50 series graphics cards, including the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080. These upcoming laptops have been listed by several retailers, revealing key specifications.
New Laptop Lineup
ASUS is working on laptops powered by Intel Arrow Lake-HX and H-series processors, as well as AMD Strix Halo-based models, promising one of the most versatile lineups to date.
- ROG Strix G835: This model will feature up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, 64GB of DDR5 memory, and NVIDIA's RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. It will also include an 18-inch QXGA display with 1200 nits peak brightness.
- ROG Zephyrus GU605: This laptop is expected to feature up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor, 64GB of LPDDR5X memory, and a 16-inch QXGA OLED display. It will offer various graphics options, including RTX 5090, 5080, and 5070 Ti.
- ROG Flow: This 2-in-1 tablet with an attachable keyboard will be powered by the AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 processor (Strix Halo silicon) and will come with a 13.4-inch display.
NVIDIA RTX 50 Series
Retailer listings, while not directly mentioning the graphics cards by name, use NVIDIA codenames such as GN22 and SKU identifiers, such as X11, X9, and X7:
- GN22-X11: Corresponds to the RTX 5090 Laptop GPU.
