Ayaneo is preparing to release its first gaming handheld powered by the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, the Ayaneo 3. The device, which recently debuted on Indiegogo, is set to launch in late January 2025.
The Ayaneo 3 will feature AMD's Zen 5 architecture and will compete with Ryzen Z2 series models showcased at CES 2025. There will also be a variant powered by the last-gen Ryzen 7 8840U, aiming to compete with non-Extreme Z2 models and other Zen 4 handhelds.
However, the main highlight of the Ayaneo 3 is its modular design. It features swappable buttons and modules, allowing for a fully customizable gaming experience. The device will also offer options for both LCD and OLED screens, and features a self-developed "Magnetic Suspension Motor" for enhanced vibration feedback.
While pricing details have not yet been confirmed, more information is expected to be released soon.
