According to a recent analysis by Digital Foundry, the latest patch for Black Myth: Wukong on the PlayStation 5 Pro showcases a very impressive implementation of the PSSR upscaler within the Unreal Engine 5. PSSR Performance Analysis The patch introduces PSSR support in Quality Mode, upscaling a roughly 1296p input resolution to 4K. This results in a significantly sharper image compared to the base PS5. Digital Foundry noted that certain visual elements, such as "noisy hair" on the first boss, appear much cleaner with PSSR than with AMD FSR.
