Colorful is teasing its new iGame Shadow DDR5 memory, specifically targeting AMD Ryzen AM5 systems with a focus on low latency. This new memory is based on SK Hynix A-Die modules.
The iGame Shadow DDR5 series is available in both AMD EXPO/XMP and Intel XMP variants. Officially, Colorful offers 16GBx2 kits at:
- 6000 MT/s with CL28 latency
- 6800 MT/s with CL32 latency
- 8000 and 8400 MT/s for Intel Z890 chipsets
While the company is teasing 6400 MT/s with CL28 latency, this is not yet available as a standard configuration, and achieving it requires manual overclocking with a voltage increase to 1.45V.
Currently, the CL28 DDR5-6000 kit with a 2x16GB configuration is priced at 859 RMB (around 118 USD), but it's only available in China.
