New leaks have surfaced regarding DJI's next consumer drone, the DJI Flip. It appears the drone will sport a unique foldable design, making it even more compact than the DJI Mini.
Following initial leaks, sources like Jasper Ellens and Igor Bogdanov have obtained footage showcasing the DJI Flip's design. The leaked video suggests DJI has taken inspiration from HoverAir's X1 series (currently available on Amazon), incorporating a foldable design for increased portability.
Breaking: Thanks to my friend YueYue this is the worlds first view of the #DJIFLIP. The Flip will be the next gen #foldable DJI drone (video). If you were waiting on a Mini 5. This is it. It will have O4 and probably LiDAR. Prop guards are like FPV carbon fiber. Cheers! Jasper pic.twitter.com/uhumLWXLup

Reports indicate the DJI Flip includes a LiDAR sensor array, potentially borrowed from the DJI Air 3S. It's also expected to support DJI's OcuSync 4 (O4) video transmission technology and feature a 3-axis gimbal for its single camera.
Pricing and launch date remain unknown, but speculation points towards an early 2025 release.
