Square Enix has released the official PC system requirements for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, detailing the hardware needed to run the game at various resolutions, quality settings, and framerates.
The minimum requirements for 1080p resolution, low quality settings, and 30 FPS are fairly reasonable. However, older NVIDIA GTX cards and anything older than a Radeon RX 6600 are not supported. For 1080p at 60 FPS on medium settings and for 4K at 60 FPS on high settings, Windows 11 is recommended along with more powerful CPUs and GPUs. To achieve 4K resolution, the highest settings and 60 FPS, either an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X or Intel i7-10700 CPU and either a Radeon RX 7900 XTX or NVIDIA RTX 4080 are needed.
