Honor to Launch Powerful Smartphone Under New Sub-Brand
Honor is reportedly preparing to launch a new high-performance smartphone under a dedicated GT sub-brand, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.
Following the launch of its 300 series smartphones, Honor is reportedly preparing to release another high-performance device before the end of the year. According to leaker Digital Chat Station, this model will belong to a new GT series featuring a flagship Qualcomm processor. The new smartphone is rumored to have a flat 1.5K display, a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, and support for 100W fast charging. While other details remain scarce, it is likely to be a relatively affordable device aimed at mobile gaming enthusiasts. Honor CEO George Zhao has also announced that the GT series will be a fully independent product line targeting the younger generation. It's currently unclear whether these devices will retain the "Honor" branding or if GT will become a completely separate brand, similar to Redmi or POCO by Xiaomi.
