The Huawei Pura 80 Ultra, successor to the Pura 70 Ultra, is expected to launch in 2025. A new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station provides a glimpse into the upcoming flagship's potential camera setup.
The leak suggests the Pura 80 Ultra will feature a 50MP 1-inch type primary sensor with variable aperture. It will be accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide sensor and a 1/1.3” periscope zoom lens. It's important to note that this is from technical testing and that the final camera setup may differ.
Pura 70 Ultra Comparison
For comparison, the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra featured a 50MP primary sensor, a 40MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP macro telephoto camera. It had a 6.8-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1260 x 2844 pixels and was powered by the Kirin 9010 chipset with a 7nm architecture. The phone packed a 5,200mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging. Given the Pura 70 Ultra launched in April 2024, the Pura 80 Ultra is expected around the same time in 2025.
