Great news for Xbox Game Pass subscribers! Hunt: Showdown 1896 is coming to the service on December 12, 2024. Along with the game's arrival, players can also dive into "Post Malone's Murder Circus," a new collaboration event.
Post Malone's Murder Circus Event
Running from December 12th, 2024, to February 10th, 2025, the Murder Circus event introduces a supernatural carnival to the bayou and other locations. Players will encounter Post Malone, the Deposed King and former Ringmaster, who guides them through the horrifying show corrupted by the cursed HelioStone.
The event brings a host of new content:
- New Creatures: Face terrifying foes like the two-headed bear, Ursa Mortis, and the eerie Circus Grunts.
- New Weapons: Wield the Shredder (sawblade launcher) and the Chu Ko Nu (repeating crossbow).
- New Weapon Variants: Try out the 1865 Carbine Aperture, Krag Silencer, Maynard Sniper Silencer, and Sparks Pistol Silencer.
- New Equipment: Utilize the Recovery Shot consumable and Subsonic Ammo type.
In addition to new content, the update includes enhanced silencer mechanics, animation tweaks, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements.
