Bethesda and Machine Games have released a new update for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, addressing several issues, particularly those related to Nvidia technologies and in-game bugs.
Nvidia-Specific Fixes in Update 2
Update 2 brings a series of performance improvements for PC players, specifically focusing on Nvidia features:
- Fixed performance issues caused by Nvidia DLSS when enabled.
- Fixed an issue where Nvidia Frame Generation wasn't activating properly with HDR.
- Fixed performance problems caused by Nvidia Low Latency Mode when used with Frame Generation.
- Addressed an issue where global illumination could be disabled on systems with below-minimum VRAM.
- Fixed over-bright lighting in interiors when using Medium or High Path Tracing (Full Ray Tracing) settings.
A known issue with Nvidia Frame Generation being temporarily disabled when HDR is first activated is also noted, with a workaround provided: disable and re-enable DLSS.
Other Bug Fixes
The update also addresses issues with global illumination on Xbox Series X|S consoles. Furthermore, it fixes story progression issues related to NPCs not performing actions, ensures save files are not rendered unplayable, and quashes a few minor bugs. The update is available to download now on PC and Xbox.
