Intel Battlemage GPU: 24GB VRAM but Not for Gaming

A new leak suggests Intel might launch a 24GB VRAM Battlemage GPU for data centers and AI, not gaming, under the Arc Pro lineup.

A recent leak suggests that Intel is preparing a Battlemage-based GPU with 24GB of VRAM. However, this specific card is reportedly aimed at the enterprise market for data center and AI applications, rather than gaming.

Intel Battlemage GPU: 24GB VRAM but Not for Gaming

This rumor surfaced from a Chinese blogger's WeChat platform, spotted by X leaker @harukaze5719. It indicates Intel is moving forward with Battlemage technology, even if high-end gaming GPUs based on it are not immediately in the cards.

This 24GB VRAM GPU is expected to launch under Intel's Arc Pro lineup, potentially as an upgraded version of the Arc Pro A60, which features 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM and 16 Xe cores. It also wouldn't be too far off from the specifications of the rumored Arc B580. This new GPU, possibly named Arc Pro B60, would be a significant improvement.

The fact that Intel is producing a high-memory card based on Battlemage may suggest that even if this particular SKU is not for gamers, their confidence in Battlemage is still strong. It may also hint that the next generation of Intel GPUs, the Celestial lineup, could include a high-VRAM gaming SKU.
