AMD Ryzen Z1 GO and Key Specs

According to Roland Quandt and WinFuture, the Legion Go S (model number 8ARP1) will feature the AMD Ryzen Z1 GO APU, not the Ryzen Z1G as previously rumored. This APU packs 8 Zen3+ CPU cores at 3 GHz, 4 MB of L2 cache, and a Radeon 680M iGPU.

Other key specifications include:

  • 16 GB of LDDR5 RAM
  • 512 GB M.2 2242 SSD
  • 55 Wh battery (10% larger than the original Legion Go)
  • 8-inch, 1920 x 1200 (16:10) display with a 120 Hz refresh rate

Performance and Pricing

While the Legion Go S offers slightly lower performance than the original Legion Go (currently $539.99 on Amazon), the lower resolution display and larger battery should improve battery life. Quandt suggests a launch price of €600 (~$632), which is significantly cheaper than the original Legion Go's launch price.
