LG is making early announcements ahead of CES 2025, including the world's first bendable monitor with an OLED display at 5K2K resolution. This innovative monitor, the UltraGear 45GX990A, is part of the new UltraGear GX9 series and has already received three CES awards, including an Innovation Award.

- Built-in smart functions
- Bendable design (flat to 900R curvature)
- Dual-Mode for adjusting aspect ratio and picture size

UltraGear 45GX950A: Curved OLED Performance
LG also announced the UltraGear 45GX950A, featuring similar specifications to the 45GX990A, but with a fixed 800R curvature. This model boasts a four-side virtually borderless design, a 125 pixels per inch (PPI) display, and an RGWB subpixel layout, improving readability. Other features include:
- Curved (800R) 21:9 format 5K2K-resolution
- Sharp, lifelike images with excellent colors and contrast
- Slim bezels for an immersive experience
Both monitors support a Dual-Mode feature for adjusting the aspect ratio and resolution, though specific details are not yet available. Both monitors are also equipped with HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1, along with NVIDIA G-Sync and FreeSync Premium Pro support. However, LG has not specified if the DisplayPort 2.1 implementation is the full UHBR20 version.
Further details, including pricing, are expected to be announced at CES 2025.
