The Miyoo Flip, a retro gaming handheld that resembles the Game Boy Advance SP, is finally available globally for $89.99. This long-awaited device aims to compete with the popular Anbernic RG35XX SP.
The Miyoo Flip features a similar spec sheet to the RG35XX SP, but with a smaller form factor. It measures 154 x 81 x 15 mm when open and 83 x 81 x 25 mm when closed.
Key Features
- 3.5-inch IPS display (640 x 480 resolution, 4:3 aspect ratio)
- 3,000 mAh battery
- ARM Cortex-A55 based CPU (believed to be the Rockchip RK3566 at 1.8 GHz)
- 1 GB of RAM
- Dual joysticks
While the performance is expected to be similar to the RG35XX SP, the addition of the joysticks may make the Miyoo Flip a better option for emulating PlayStation 1 games. The Miyoo Flip is available in black, grey, white, and yellow color options with deliveries starting on January 5, 2025.
