MSI's upcoming MPG 322URX QD-OLED gaming monitor appears to be a minor refresh of the existing MPG 321URX. The key upgrade is the inclusion of a DisplayPort 2.1 interface with UHBR20, offering significantly increased bandwidth.

While the global MSI website hasn't listed the 322URX yet, the MSI China site reveals its full specifications. The monitor retains the same design, resolution, refresh rate, and color gamut as its predecessor, with the DP 2.1 interface being the primary differentiator.

DisplayPort 2.1 with UHBR20 boosts bandwidth from 25.92 Gbps (DP 1.4a) to 80 Gbps, enabling support for higher resolutions and refresh rates without compression. This means the MPG 322URX can theoretically handle 4K at 240Hz, although current GPUs are unlikely to achieve such performance natively.

Another minor improvement is the upgrade from USB 2.0 to USB 3.2 Type-A ports, allowing for faster data transfer and compatibility with modern peripherals.
