No Elden Ring 2 Currently Planned, But the IP Could Still Expand

FromSoftware isn't currently developing Elden Ring 2, but a sequel isn't ruled out, and the studio is working on multiple new projects.

FromSoftware president Hidetaka Miyazaki confirmed that a sequel to Elden Ring is not currently in development. However, he didn't rule out the possibility of expanding the Elden Ring universe in the future.

Speaking at the PlayStation Partner Awards, Miyazaki revealed that FromSoftware is working on multiple projects across different genres. Some of these projects are under his direct supervision and aim to showcase different facets of the studio's capabilities.

While Elden Ring 2 isn't on the immediate horizon, fans can still enjoy the recently released Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. This expansion builds upon the success of the base game, offering a similar experience within a new area of The Lands Between.
