While Nothing hasn't officially announced a foldable phone, designer Sarang Sheth has created an intriguing concept for a Nothing Fold (1), incorporating a unique hinge design.
Design and Features
The concept takes inspiration from the Nothing Phone (2) but adds some interesting twists. It features a 6.5-inch cover display with a punch-hole camera and an 8.3-inch inner display, larger than Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 6. The hinge is the standout feature, with one version sporting a notification display (a "pipe dream" according to the article) and another showcasing a light bar.
Other notable features include triple rear cameras (a first for Nothing), the signature Glyph Interface, and Nothing OS on both displays.
Conceptual Specifications and Price
Sheth envisions the Fold (1) with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, 16GB of RAM, 32MP front cameras, a 5,500mAh battery, and 15W Qi2 wireless charging. The suggested price of £799 (~$1018/€970) would undercut competitors.
