Nvidia Acquires Run:ai for $700M, Will Open Source Software
Nvidia has finalized the acquisition of AI software firm Run:ai for $700 million and plans to open source its software.
Nvidia has completed its acquisition of Run:ai, an AI software company specializing in GPU orchestration. The deal, reportedly costing around $700 million, marks Nvidia's continued push into the AI software space. Run:ai's Role and Nvidia's Vertical Integration Run:ai, founded in 2018, develops software to efficiently organize groups of GPUs, particularly Nvidia GPUs.
