The upcoming OnePlus 13R, expected to be the more affordable flagship, and the China-exclusive Ace 5 Pro are rumored to have a maximum of 16GB of RAM. This contrasts with the high-end OnePlus 13, which will offer up to 24GB.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is positioned as a gaming powerhouse with its Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and a dedicated "Fengchi" co-processor. However, according to leaker Digital Chat Station, the Ace 5 Pro will be limited to a maximum of 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The vanilla Ace 5 will also share the same RAM limitation.
Both the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro are expected to have base models with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, as well as 16GB RAM variants. Other Ace 5-series SKUs may come with 512GB of storage in combination with either the 12GB or 16GB RAM options.
Consequently, the "13R" (likely the global version of the Ace 5) is also expected to be limited to 16GB of RAM. Hopefully, it will get at least a 512GB storage option, since its predecessor, the 12R, was only available with a maximum of 256GB of storage.
