The OnePlus Ace 5 series is launching soon in China, and the standard model is expected to be rebranded as the OnePlus 13R for the global market. Key specifications of this affordable sub-flagship have surfaced ahead of the official announcement.
According to reliable Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 13R will feature a 6.78-inch BOE X2 LTPO display with ultra-thin bezels and a 1.5K resolution. Like the OnePlus 13, it will have a flat display, reportedly protected by "crystal shield glass."
As confirmed by OnePlus, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. OnePlus claims this SoC will deliver "Gen 3.5-like" performance, exceeding other devices using the same chipset.
The leak also suggests the OnePlus 13R will pack a large battery, either 6,285 mAh or 6,415 mAh, with 80W fast charging support.
The phone is expected to have a metal body, with a cyan color variant featuring a ceramic body.
