Ahead of the OnePlus Ace 5 series launch in China (expected to be rebranded as the OnePlus 13R globally), OnePlus President Louis Lee has offered an official look at the phone's front design.
Flat Display with Slim Bezels
The images reveal the OnePlus 13R will sport a flat display with slim bezels, mirroring the design of the flagship OnePlus 13. This design choice, common among recent Chinese flagships, represents a shift away from the curved displays seen in previous generations.
The display is rumored to be a 6.78-inch BOE X2 LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution, although this hasn't been officially confirmed.
Confirmed Features
President Lee has confirmed a metal middle frame for the OnePlus 13R (Ace 5), enhancing the phone's premium feel. The phone will also be powered by a custom-tuned Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
Other expected features include 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, a 6,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging, and a triple-camera rear system. A compatible Anker Prime 100W charger is currently priced at $79.99 on Amazon.
