Flying Squirrel Entertainment, the creators of Battle Cry of Freedom and Mount & Blade: Warband, has launched a free playtest for their upcoming World War I shooter, Over The Top: WWI. The playtest runs until December 9th (4 AM EST / 10 AM CET).

Destructible Environments and Dynamic Terrain
Adding to the chaos, environments are fully destructible. Destroy bridges, fell trees, demolish enemy fortifications, and even punch holes in walls. Dynamic terrain means that explosions create realistic craters, while players can use tools to dig trenches for defensive advantage.
