Overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Tested on Galaxy S25 Ultra

A benchmark leak has revealed a Galaxy S25 Ultra prototype running a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with overclocked performance cores. However, the resulting scores in Geekbench 6 are reportedly underwhelming compared to reference design results. Due to apparent difficulties with its 3nm GAA yields, Samsung is expected to exclusively launch its Galaxy S25 lineup with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite. The Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung's top-end model for 2025, is expected to use an overclocked version of the chip, as it has done in previous years.
