A benchmark leak has revealed a Galaxy S25 Ultra prototype running a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with overclocked performance cores. However, the resulting scores in Geekbench 6 are reportedly underwhelming compared to reference design results. Due to apparent difficulties with its 3nm GAA yields, Samsung is expected to exclusively launch its Galaxy S25 lineup with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite. The Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung's top-end model for 2025, is expected to use an overclocked version of the chip, as it has done in previous years. Benchmark Results and Clock Speeds The benchmark leak, shared by @TECHINFOSOCIALS, shows that the performance cores of the Snapdragon 8 Elite in the Galaxy S25 Ultra were clocked at 4.47GHz, up from the default 4.32GHz, while the efficiency cores ran at 3.53GHz.
