Path of Exile 2 Early Access Delayed Due to Server Issues

Developer Grinding Gear Games decided to perform last-minute database upgrades to accommodate a higher-than-expected number of players. However, these upgrades encountered several issues, including a crash and a character ID conflict.

The team is actively working on resolving the problems and providing updates via social media. Despite the rocky start, Path of Exile 2 has already garnered significant attention on Twitch, surpassing World of Warcraft, New World, and even Diablo IV in terms of live viewers.

"We've run into the same symptom again with a different problem...every time this happens we have to restart and wipe the databases...We'll have a fix out as soon as we can!" - Grinding Gear Games

Even the official Path of Exile 2 website is currently down, displaying a "temporarily unavailable" message.

We will continue to provide updates as the situation develops.
