How to Play Multiplayer

To join forces with other exiles:

  1. Press "J" or click the three-lined button in the bottom left to open the Social Screen.
  2. Enter your friend's character name in the "Friend Invite" box.
  3. Once your friend is online, right-click their portrait and select "Invite to Party."

Key Multiplayer Details:

  • Shared Loot: Valuable items have a short delay before they can be picked up, allowing for fair distribution among party members.
  • Increased Challenge and Rewards: Enemies have more health in multiplayer, but the loot is also better.
  • Trading: Right-click a party member's portrait and select "Trade" to exchange items.
  • Area Access: You can only access areas you've already unlocked in your own game.

How to Revive Other Players

To revive a downed teammate:

  1. Stand within the golden AoE around their corpse.
  2. Click and hold the "Revive" button on the banner above their body until the animation completes.

Be careful, as getting attacked will interrupt the revival process.

How to Play Couch Co-op

To set up couch co-op:

  1. Go to the character select menu and click the settings cog in the top left.
  2. Select "Input" and switch to "Controller."
  3. Configure "Controller #1" with your first controller.
  4. Configure "Controller #2" with your second controller. This will enable Couch Co-op Mode.
  5. Save changes and exit. You'll see two characters side-by-side. Select your characters to begin playing.

In couch co-op, you share the screen and gold.
