Portronics Beem 500 Projector Launches with 6,700 Lumens Brightness
Portronics has launched the Beem 500 projector in India. This 1080p LED projector boasts a claimed brightness of up to 6,700 lumens, although this measurement doesn't appear to follow a recognized standard like ISO or ANSI lumens. It offers image sizes from 40 to 120 inches and features intelligent alignment, autofocus, and keystone correction for easy setup. Running on an Android 9.0-based OS, the Beem 500 allows streaming from popular services like Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video. Connectivity options include HDMI, USB-A, Ethernet, AUX, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Built-in 16W speakers and a voice command-enabled remote control complete the package. The Portronics Beem 500 is currently available in India for ₹23,999 (~$283), a 40% discount from its ₹39,999 (~$471) RRP. Availability in other markets is unknown. US customers might consider the BenQ TH575 1080P Gaming Projector, available on Amazon for $499.
