PowerColor, a major AMD board partner, is reportedly preparing to launch a new "Reaper" GPU series alongside the upcoming Radeon RX 8000 graphics cards. This information comes from a reliable source within PowerColor.
While PowerColor already offers a diverse range of GPUs, not all of them are currently being utilized for the latest generation of cards. The company's current GPU brands include Devil, Hellhound, and Fighter. Notably, the Red Dragon series was discontinued for the RX 7000 series.
New Reaper Series
According to our source, PowerColor will debut the Reaper series with the launch of the RX 8000 series. While the specific SKUs remain unconfirmed, it is likely that the Reaper cards will encompass both RX 8800 and RX 8600 models, including their XT variants. This suggests the potential release of four distinct Reaper cards.

In addition to the new Reaper lineup, PowerColor is also expected to bring back Red Dragon and Hellhound models for the RX 8000 series. The official announcement for these new cards is anticipated at CES 2025, although a specific launch date is yet to be determined.
