A new comparison video by ElAnalistaDeBits offers a detailed look at the PlayStation 5 Pro's performance across over 20 games, both patched and unpatched. The video showcases the improvements the new console brings to titles like Marvel's Spider-Man 2, God of War Ragnarok, The Last of Us Part 1 and 2, Dragon's Dogma 2, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and more.
While unpatched games don't see massive improvements, noticeable enhancements are still present, such as in Final Fantasy XVI. The PS5 Pro boasts a more powerful GPU and introduces PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), the first AI-powered upscaler in consoles.
However, PSSR's current implementation appears inconsistent, with some titles, like Alan Wake 2, exhibiting less-than-ideal image quality, potentially due to developers using older versions of the upscaler. Future games are expected to show better results with newer versions of PSSR.
The PlayStation 5 Pro is now available worldwide.
